Movie Review by B Movie Ben
November 19th, 2008

Favorite Movie Quote: "All you guys lied. All of y'all. In a story or whatever, have lied."

Over 443,000 Americans (over 18 percent of all deaths) die because of smoking each year. About 26,000 Americans die each year from alcohol. How many die from steroids? - 3.

So why all the fuss? Why did Congress, who met for all of 151 days in 2005, spend 8 of those days debating steroids in sports? That is more time than they spent on National health care, with 42 million Americans going without health insurance; more time than they spent on why the levees broke in new Orleans; and more time than they spent on ending the war in Iraq. Is the "national pastime" more important that all those other things? Chris Bell put together a very entertaining and informative documentary using sports figures, the Governator, and body builders - even his own brothers, who use steroids, to give a picture of what is really going on.

I really didn't care if athletes took steroids before, but at least now I know all about them and still don't care.
